Figure in Motion: Bone Study

This is my bone study for Figure and Motion.

Hand drawing: snake

(This was the result of a the scanner messing up. I will update this with a better picture as soon as possible. The true image is much less murky.)

My intent was to create snake made out of bones for the image using the left leg and the jaw. I used contrast to try to make the shadow seem a little bigger than the figure itself. I intentionally left out the other toes as a stylized choice. I figured that it was add to the image of a single being instead of three separate parts.
